Session Description:

Despite all the airway technology available, adverse outcomes related to airway management still occur and we still encounter the difficult airway, both expected and unexpected.

Learning Objectives:

1. To discuss assessment of the airway
2. To present difficult airway strategies and plans
3. Present algorithms as well as some airway tips and tricks
4. Discuss some current controversies in airway management
5. Discuss how COVID -19 may impact airway management strategies
