Session Description:
An overview of multimodal analgesia, including commonly used nonopioid medications and advances in regional anesthesia.
Learning Objectives:
- Discuss the importance of a multimodal approach for analgesia.
- Outline several opioid alternatives commonly used intraoperatively.
- Discuss new regional techniques and local anesthetics that also limit post-operative opioid use.
